Excellent Mixed Sprouts with lot of fiber and protein.
Ingredients:
- Mixed sprouts - 1 cup (fenugreek , horsegram & green lentils whole)
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard&cumin - 1 tbsp
- onion - Half (chopped)
- ginger&garlic - chopped 1 tbsp
- green chilli - 1 tbsp chopped
- tumeric - 1/4 tbsp
- chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- garam masala -1 tbsp
- grated cocount - 1 tbsp
- salt to taste
Method :
- Boil the mixed sprouts with half a cup of water, pinch of salt & turmeric powder for about 3-5 mins.
- Take a fry pan, Add oil and heat,saute with mustard and cumin seeds & allow to splutter.
- Add chopped onion & fry further for 3 mins.
- Saute ginger,garlic & green chilli for 2 mins,combine well.
- Then add chilli pwd and garam masala pwd , Keep the flame low and allow to cook for 2 mins.
- Finally add the cooked sprouts.switch off the stove & add grated cocount.
- Garnishing with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
